Static Vision are a 3 piece rock band hailing from Limerick, Ireland. The band consists of 2 brothers, lead/singer, songwriter and guitarist Cian O'Dowd, bass player Tom O'Dowd and drummer Toby Shane.
Since Cian started the band in 2017 the only consistent members have been his brother and himself. Their first EP "Faith in the Future" was released in late 2019 as the original band fell apart. After a period of finding a new drummer, Toby Shane joined and quickly the trio clicked having been recording and practicing vigorously since they met up in late 2020.

"Imagine Kurt Cobain meets the Rubberbandits on a night out and he decides to give it all up, move to Limerick and spend the summer writing tunes and drinking cans. There's nobody I recommend seeing live more once gigs return" - Jake Tiernan
The sound of Static Vision comes from a raw and burning desire to take the listener into their world of beautiful, simple yet distorted melody, written and played from a deep passion for what rock 'n' roll music is truly all about. Loud, youthful and heavy. The band has a (static) vision to show the world what it's been missing while at the same time creating something very exciting and new.
With their new drummer, the band is now back stronger then ever and their first single with this lineup Strange Things (ft Covid-19) was released in December 2020.
2021 saw the re-release of their early classic I Want You along with new singles Casanova and Grapevine. Their latest release is Lockdown, out on April 22 2022.
